Help w/ Upgrading RODI system

I have a 75 GPD system that I've used for several years. I've recently seen some posts that state that those numbers can be boosted and that I can get a better ratio than my current 4:1.

How do I do this? I've seen something about a booster pump and an additional cartridge if I remember correctly. I have a psi gauge on my system but I don't know what it currently reads ( I'm at work).

I've also bookmarked this on BRS and thought of getting this kit to double the water production according to its claims.
I'm guessing that depending on what my psi is, would determine if I need the booster pump.

I have the BRS 75 gallon system and hooked up another membrane (which I got from BRS) it was very easy and I get more usable water per gallon.

Note that in many cases you can simply adjust the water pressure in your house vs installing a booster pump for the RO/DI system alone..
Showers,etc... get "better" too that way...

There is a water pressure regulator in most homes,etc... that simply requires turning a single bolt to adjust pressure..

The water saver kit is really all you need and if your pressure is over 50PSI you are good to go.. They recommend 65 PSI though but a bit lower will still work fairly well..

IF & I say IF you have soft water you can go with a 2-1 ratio.

Alright. Thanks to all for the input.

According to the gauge on the filter system it is at 50 psi. It was replaced this year so it should be accurate. I ordered the water saver kit last night. Maybe I'll get the booster, maybe not.

At 50 PSI already the return on investment of the booster pump is certainly harder to justify.

It just won't be as efficient as it can be..
Its likely to be a pretty minimal difference hence why the ROI is harder to justify as it will take years to equate to the cost of the pump..

again just find the pressure regulator and bump it up some if you want..
