Help what might this be?

Recently purchased a Pom-Pom coral. It stayed in my quarantine tank for a few days and all was well but, what I thought to be a dead Pom-Pom had now started roaming around. Any help with identifying this would be greatly appreciated. It is tan/brown in color with about 18 arm(?) 6 large ones 12 tiny. There is a circle in center. Attached is a pic.

Kalwasser paste, or squirt vinegar into it's mouth before it retract. Some use laser to zap it. There is also a product call aptaiser-X or something like that.

I use another method - boiling water in a syringe to cook it where it sits. IME 100% effective 100% of the time.

Thanks there are 2 that I can see. One I ripped off and tossed out and the other is kind of hidden on the Pom-Poms plug but I'll get him.

"ripping them off" tends to leave a portion of the body that will regenerate..

In addition to what has already been suggested you can get "pickling lime" from the grocery store and use water to make a toothpaste consistency and put it right in the mouth or directly covering it and that will kill it..

Creatures that are known to go after them in a tank include the following (each with its own pros/cons)
peppermint shrimp
Matted filefish
Berghia nudibranch
and a few others..

Just a note, IME Berghia nudibranchs didn't work too well for me b/c of my wrasses. So if you have wrasses in your tank, might be something to think about, but they are very good at during the job.

Being that it's on a frag plug like that I would just burn it off with a cigarette lighter or perhaps a match. This only takes a few seconds to do.
