Help with a 6045

I have had my 6045 for three months now. I went to clean it out last night. I discovered, there was a verticle crack down the entire length of the arm that holds the pump in place. When I moved it out of the water it was almost off. Has this happened to other units and what caused it? How can I get a replacement. It was purchased at marine depot.

Same thing happened to my 6025 holding bracket... was purchased from Marine depot in April this year.

Should I return to MD?
