Help with adding strip LED to existing T-5s

Currently, the lighting I have in my 50g hex consists of two 15" power compact 10K, two 50/50 and one actinic. The lighting seems very good since the fish are pretty and corral is growing well.

Well, I am considering adding some blue LED lighting to the setup to bring out more radiant colors out of the reef, since currently the overall look is quite brown and green.
I am looking at 20-27 inch blue LED strip lighting. Now considering TrueLumen Pro LED strip BUD-75427 for $47.99: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=23510&prodid=47671&catid=2225 and don't know if I should get the white/actinic or the "Deep Water Blue" version. I am wondering if anyone has one or an opinion on their performance.
Does anyone have something comparable to suggest? Please.
Thank you!
Tom

The strip you mention may or may not have the intensity you're looking for as it uses lower power LED chips. A lot of it will depend on the depth of your tank. So you may need a few strips to get the job done.

To bring out the best colors from corals with fluorescent pigments, a combination of actinic & royal blue (400-420nm & ~450nm respectively) is what you want. Buildmyled has nice customizable linear format lights and you can choose any combo of color temperature you want. Decent prices and they'll work with you personally to get you what you want.

I like the BML also, plus you will be able to ditch the CFL's and save a bunch of money from replacing the expensive lamps. Two strips would be perfect with manual dimmers.
