Help with an ID, please

I'm pretty sure it's an encrusting Montipora but I'm not sure. What do y'all think?

Sorry, my crummy camera phone made the rocks look purple. The coral is a darker purple where it's not green, if that helps.

Cyphastrea possibly japonica. Nice color btw.

Agreed it's a Cyphastrea species. But the species might be too early to tell at that size. I would lean towards C. japanica as well.

Looks more like a monti but only time will tell. Could even be the base of an acro

Thanks! I typically don't care for entrusting corals but this one was just too gorgeous to pass up. Plus, it was only $25 so I figured why not? The picture doesn't do it justice.
