help with building sump

Greetings,

I recently rebuilt my canopy and with this change I am no longer able to have my skimmer HOB. The collection cup doesn't fit anymore.

So I am thinking I need a sump to set my skimmer in. I am looking for advice on pumps and setup . I have not done anything like this yet so any feedback and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

This site should help www.melevsreef.com He has many different designes. But what ever you do make sure you think it out, and take your time doing it. A sump is very easy, But when I first started mine I was confused.
