Help with fish disease

I am in desparate need of help right now. a couple of weeks ago I bought a false morish idol or bannerfish that had some spots on it. i did not take it out of the tank because the spots started going away, it ate right away, and it acted healthy and did not scratch. I thought everything was fine until i got home today and most all of my fish are COVERED in white spots. none of them seem to scratch and they all eat. What is this and what caused it all to come back in one day. I don't think it is ich because there is no scratching.

They don't have to scratch to have ich. How about a picture?

wish i could post a picture but don't have time, got a lot of work to do.

Yeah, i didn't see the disease section until after i posted and i could not delete my post. Still figuring out the website.

The spots look like ich but i would think the fish would be going crazy with all the spots but they seem normal.
