HELP with halimeda

i have an infestation of halimeda in my tank. Its been this way for some time and im tired of manually removing it. The biggest problem is its growing close to SPS frags where i cant pull it out and im afraid its going to create a lighting problem.

Is there anything that eats this stuff? Any suggestions??

Hi thebigmg,

In Algae A Problem Solver Guide Julian Sprung says Diadema urchins will eat Halimeda. I'm not sure if they are entirely SPS safe though...
