Help with hammer coral

I'm new to the hobby but absolutely loving it. I just purchased a hammer coral. He has been in my coralife biocube 29 since Monday this week. He is extended on the outside but his center keeps going into his membrane. I will post a picture when I figure out how. He is located on the sand in the bottom left corner of my tank. He is getting indirect flow from the stock pump plus a hydor powerhead. Any suggestions or opinions is really appreciated.

Read SETTING UP in the stickies, the bit on dirt-simple chemistry and set up to use kalk to supply his calcium. They're a tough, willing grower, and if you feed him enough calcium and have reasonable light, he should do well for you.
