Help with ID

Hi guys, I picked this anemone up a couple weeks ago and it was in pretty bad shape at the store, but has since rebounded. Wondering if you could help me with the ID? I'm thinking either Heteractis magnifica or Entacmaea quadricolor. Thanks.

Are you guys sure about this ? Never seen a bubble tip with a non transparent purple foot before.

It's because of the blue lights. I see it on my two BTA's all the time, but the white lines by the mouth are a dead giveaway.

I'm referring to the flash on pics that were presumably taken at nighttime, I could be wrong but I still think this is H. magnifica.

Never seen a bubble tip exist a solid purple foot.

I'm not going to argue with you and you most certainly are entitled to your opinion. I'm sticking with BTA because of the white lines by the mouth.

White lines are mesterisal filiments and ever anemone has them, they are part of their gastric system.
Like I said, could be wrong, could be right but I have never seen a bubble tip with a solid purple foot.

Argue with you ? Come on now...

The redial white lines radiated from the mouth seen in the last picture is the positive ID characteristic of BTA.
Examples of other BTA mouths (not my pictures. I found on the web)

It's a BTA just by the tentacle shape in the first picture. Some show a slight thickening behind the tip. Magnificas don't have that.
Also, BTA are highly variable in coloring and I've seen some in stores with a purple foot.

Also the entire anemone shape rather fits a BTA than a magnifica.

Purple foot, red foot, brown foot, yellow foot BTA have it all. You are entitled to your opinion even if it is wrong
