this showed up on the front glass of my planted marine tank - pretty cool but no idea what it is

about 1/8 inch long - larger end would rhythmically balloon out then pull in as if pumping water through

sorry about pic - could only post itty bitty pic or way too big pic

any info appreciated

Wow! that is wild....... a slug, homeless snail, tunicatelike- I'm stumped. Was it hitchhiker on some new addition to your tank? Whatever it is, it sure is pretty neat looking. TinMan

thanks for input, it is pretty cool to watch and moves pretty quickly by very smoothly gliding on the glass, first thought it was a water drop and tried to dry off the glass

I've id'd limpets, chitons, tunicates, peanut worms, shrimp and snail eggs in the tank but this has stumped me so far

It is a white flatworm, they are generally thought to be harmless, and may eat pods off the glass.

thanks for all the help with the id - now that I know what it is I can research it - the link really helped

thanks
