So this is my second anemone first one did pretty well (BTA) but this one(LTA) is making me worried. I 've had it for 3 days and it has not buried its foot, it looks like its constantly vomiting and today it looks like some tentacles are deflating. It also spends a lot of time on its side. I am at a loss. Waters params are perfect. Temp is from 78-81. Maybe you guys can help ;)

I am afraid to add more corals and finish arranging things until I find out whats wrong with this guy.

BTW its a 65gal tank been up for two weeks with livestock from my 2 yr old tank(sand, rocks, water etc)

If your tank has only been up and running for two weeks,IMO, I'd say it's too young for an anemone, but hey, I'm still new to reefing, somebody with more experience might give you some better advice

I personally would have waited a bit longer before adding it to this tank, even with using existing rock/sand there are going to be some changes.

What are the numbers behind your "perfect parameters" ?

Can you get a better shot of its foot, mainly the base. It looks like it has started to deteriorate, which is a very bad sign. Was it like that when you got it?

Its wasn't 100% Healthy when I bought it. But Neither was the last anemone I had, A few days in the tank brought it back so I thought this would be the same. It has quickly deteriorated. Could this have been past the point of no return when I bought three days ago?

I would get it out of your tank before anything more drastic happens. It is a gonner and unfortunately that's a risk in this hobbie..not everything makes it :(

yup...I 'll wait a couple months or so.. I felt bad for the my clowns which were always used to having an anemone around.
