Help with my fish list

Hey,

I am looking for some input on my fish list. Here are all the fish I am interested in.

B&W Amphiprion Ocellaris (Clownfish)
Zebrasoma flaviscens (Yellow Tang)
Acanthurus leucosternon*(Powder Blue Tang)
Acanthurus olivaceous*(Orange Shoulder Tang)
Ctenochaetus strigosus (Yellow Eye Kole Tang)
Paracanthurus hepatus*(Yellow Belly Blue Tang)
Synchiropus splendidus (Green Mandarin)
Amblyeleotris randalli (Orange Stripe Prawn Goby)
Xanthicthys mento (Crosshatch Trigger) or a Bluejaw or a Pinktail Trigger
Opistognathus aurifrons (Pearly Jawfish)
Pterapogon kauderni (Kaudern's Cardinal)
Pseudanthias bartlettorum (Bartlett's Anthias)
Gramma loreto (Royal Gramma Basslet)
Ecsenius midas (Midas Blenny)
Chromis viridis (Blue/Green Reef Chromis)
Cirrhilabrus solorensis (Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse)

I have a standard 180g tank(72x24x24) and realize that I will not be able to keep all these fish. I am looking for input on what order I should add these fish, if there are any glaring incompatibilities that I am missing, and if any fish wouldn't do well in a mixed reef.

I know a lot of it will be on me on how many fish that my tank will support, I will have 190#'s of rock, chaeto, a SRO 3000, and carbon and gfo.

Thanks for any input you can give me.

except for the pbt possibly being added last, i dont think it matter what order you add those fish. i'd definitely skip the crosshatch and perhaps reduce the tang list to 3 if you wanted to add a trigger. skip the orange shoulder tang also as they get pretty big.

As a general rule, add the fish by order of aggressiveness. Peaceful to aggressive. Anthias do better in groups and have a high metabolism so feed often. Aside from what the above poster said, I don't see why you can't have all of those fish. Add slowly, too fast and your bacteria can't keep up.

IMO, 5 tangs in a 180 is really pushing it. The triggers you have listed are fairly civilized---for triggers. You have a few small fish that my crosshatches would eat as soon as they could catch them. The cardinal would be first. A blue jaw may be OK.

Thanks everyone for the input.

What fish should I get as a group or pair?

Of the three triggers is one more peaceful then the others?

I really am looking for a lot of diversity in my tank, but I don't want to do it at the expense of another species in my tank.

Thanks again

I would wait to add the Mandarin until you had built up an adequate supply of pods.

Yes, I want to add a pair, possibly in my fuge, this will let them easily receive food and pods without having to compete. Just to be clear, this is my end list/fish I would like to own at some point.

I don't plan on adding any more then 1 fish or 1 group of fish (ie a shoal of chromis) at a time. I will have a 40g breeder setup for my quarantine.

Thanks for your input
