Help with new acro

I have had a Yellow acro in the tank for about a week now. It is now lighter in color in two areas. Not bleaching,just lighter. Should I be conserned? Should I move the coral lower in the tank?
The LFS had it under a 400w Mh. I have it under 2 250w mh.
All the other SPS in the tank are doing well. I hope to post a pic in the morning.

Next question is how long do you usually wait before you frag a new acro?

did you check it for red bugs/ acro eating flatworms? R there any fish nipping at it? can you see and acro crabs? did you acclimate it? give it some time let it get used to its new home.

Acclimated and a flat worm exit bath. No pedators found. The gobys hang out there though.

get that goby out of there. I had a yellow goby do the same thing to my pink milli. I waited untill the lights went out and sucked his butt right out with a tube that went into a filter sock in my sump

yep that goby will eat the polyps off of the coral !

Great! There is actually a breeding pair of yellows and a Green Clown goby in the tank.
I will get them out tonight.
