Loosing all my hair trying to figure out what size pump for this setup. Tank is 40g with a 20g Long as sump. Tank is bottom drilled & has 1-1/4" overflow standpipe. Return is 1" pipe. Return is split with a T. Middle of T is Tank return. Top of T is plumbed to 1/4hp chiller. Chiller return is plumbed back to sump entry area.
Chiller has a rating of 480-900gph.
Measurements are 10" from return pump opening to T.
Middle T exit into 45 going 9" to another 45, then 30" to top of tank into 3 elbows & locline into tank.
Top of T into 45 going 9" to another 45, then 27" to 3/4" elbow into chiller.
3/4" elbow into 1" pipe exiting chiller going straight 50" to elbow dropping back into sump entry.
Pump will have to be submersible.
Any help appreciated.
I know. I'm one of those persons who thinks he's got everything measured right, only to cut it 4 or 5 times till its truely right. LOL.
