Help with PVC fitting

Hey reefcentral. I am trying to find out some information in regards to some plumbing stuff. I have a barbed fitting that's 1in and I am trying to figure out what FLEX/SPA PVC size would be used to connect to it. I've tried searching around the internet how ever no luck and from all the sizes that I am seeing @ lowes/homedepot I don't think they will be any justice in me finding the correct fit. Can someone kindly let me know what size they deem would be an appropriate fit.

Flex PVC doesn't connect to the barbed end of fitting like a hose would. You use the same PVC fittings you would for normal PVC. I've found that flex PVC sometimes is a bit reluctant to go into a fitting, I use ample glue when plumbing flex to help reduce friction.
