Help with salinity and RBTA

I recently added a sump to my DT and in the process accidentally dropped my salinity in my tank from 1.025 to 1.0235. Everything seems to be doing ok but my hammer coral is not as extended as it usually is and my RBTA if not fully extended anymore and look like he is trying to move from his current spot. Is this Normal and should i be concerned?

I wouldn't be too concerned. How long has the RBTA been in the tank? If it's new it might just be searching for the best spot.

He's been in there for about 3 weeks now... The hammer coral seems to be Doin much better but the RBTA is still kinda just hangin out in the same spot with shortened tentacles and only About half opened

If all your parameters are good and the only difference is adding the sump then it's probably just still acclimating. BTAs will move on occasion especially when they're new so let it settle in and keep an eye on it. That said, check all your parameters and make sure everything is where it should be. If it's moving then cover powerheads (if they aren't already) because there are too many posts about anemones getting caught up in them. When you say it's not extending fully anymore, what do you mean by that. A before and after picture would help with that part.

My RBTA sat in the same spot for almost a year, then decided it was shy and moved to the back of a rock all of a sudden. No significant change in water parameters. Im hoping one day he overcomes his stage fright.
