Help with selection of bulbs!!!

I have a PFO duel 250 hqi ballast and two PFO single ended pendants
and want to know which se bulbs I can run with this ballast. I was told that the 250 20k radium would be the ticket and was wandering if this was correct. I like a blue color but I want a good par rating as well.
Any input would be appreciated.

14K, in between
10K, more yellow, more growth

Phoenix 14000K ... Blue, high par. Not sure if they come SE though. DE for sure.

For SE I use the Aquaconnect 14K 250 watt, high PAR, (83) and nice blue color. You get excellent growth and good looks, I've personally tried about 5 different bulbs till finding this gem. Those tried 20K Radium, 20K Helios, Ushio 10K, Phoenix 14K, Reeflux 12K.

Will the Aquaconnect 250 run on my HQI ballast or will it over drive it?

What difference did you see between the Phoenix and the AquaConnect? Every spectral plot I've seen of the two shows them to be virtually identical.

i think they're both made by the same company. phoenix is the double-ended brand and aquaconnect is the single-ended. expensive bulb

A HQI (ANSI M80) ballast will not overdrive an Aquaconnect 250-watt lamp.
