Help with Tang ID? Hybrid?

Can anyone help meto identify this Tang? It's a juvenile, so it might be tough.

Sorry for the furniture reflection!

I was thinking Goldrim/Powder Blue.

Any guesses?

Hopefully you did not buy it, as they grow to 18"+ And really need a huge tank.

Yes, I did buy it, so I must have a conversation with my LFS. Actually I trust him, but he may not have recognized this fish either.

I see meaningful differences between this fish and mine, particularly in the finn coloring and body shape. Are you sure?

The one in the Juvi picture I posted, seems to be larger than yours, which may account for the more intense coloration and enlongated body.

But I'd be willing to be my mortgage that is indeed a Pale Lipped.

What I am seeing on both that makes me believe as such:

- The whiteish-yellow "ring" around the base of the tail
- Tail starts a yellowish white color and fades to blue. Your specimen is not a bright, probably due to younger age. Both have black edge.
- Orange border around Dorsal and Anal fins, with dark blue edge.
- The Anal/Dorsal fin on yours are more rounded, but you can see where they are starting to "square" off.
- Yellow tipped Pectoral fins with blue outline
- White lips. White lower jaw/chin on both.
- Yellow tipped Pelvic fins.
- Orange stripe running from from corner of eye(s).
