Help with Tiger Queen Anthias (Lori)

I've tried to keep these guys in the past with no luck. Anyone have any tips to their success?

The first issue I have is during acclimation they are very skittish and will beat themselves up in the bucket I use to acclimate.

If they make it thru acclimation, they just hide in the tank (240 gallon cube) and disappear.

Currently i have 3 purple queen anthias. 3 assessors (yellow, blue and mcneils), blue hippos, pencil wrasse, blue eye cardinal, red spot benny, barnacle blenny, midas blenny and a neon goby. I wouldn't consider any of them aggressive.

I would treat them the same as your Purple Queens...small multiple feedings...they may even shoal together ..mine did with all my peacefull anthias, my Red Saddled, Dispars, Ignitus and Randalls..they'll come out to eat when they feel safe..

To help aid the acclimation, make sure it is as dark as possible. Light stress is a bigger deal than we realize. I remember a talk by Kevin Kohen of LA at the Des Moines MACNA. He said they did their acclimations under red light. He also advised that we underestimate the level of stress caused by too much light.

My only challenge with acclimation, the biggest tank I have access to is a 10g. Until I get my acclimation chamber built.
