Im not sure what they are called but i have alot of little tube worms all over my tank. They seem to shoot out some mucus like material and i think it is bothering my corals.

Anyone every have them ?
Are they good, bad, not important and if so how do i get rid of them? I have killed of some but i have ALOT all over my 250 so you can imagine its alot to try and manually kill.

I have them too. I think its a sign of a good system? Pre made foods might feed them wait exact words are rocket fuel? Im no expert on these but thats my 2cents.

google "vermetid snails" I believe that is what you are looking for.
I have them as well , they are growing out of the montipora and they irritate the heck out of the zoanthids. they are not harmless in my system.
I am looking for a copperband, hopefully I will be as lucky as Rogger

Nasty little buggers...I had a rash of them when I wasn't so good about my water changes...they were growing everywhere...rocks, wires, glass, etc. etc. I still have a few, but since the weekly water changes, I've definitely seen less of them...they seem to be multiplying slower or not at all now. I just pick off what I can wherever I know they are. They don't seem to bother much in my tank, they just leave their "mucus trails" all over mushrooms, etc. so I would prefer to be rid of them.

i have them all over and i have been doing weekly water changes with RO and Reef Crystals. I might have to use a copperband to get rid of them. They do seem bother my corals though.

I've got them all over the place in my nano. They never seemed to bother anything, just kinda mucusey little nusences.
