the class lid the my 2.5 gal broke is there anywhere around town that will have one in stock........ i will begin my search early tomorrow . i have some glass from a picture fram partially and ghettoly cover it right now.

take a paper tracing to your nearest glass shop. They can duplicate it.

You could probably buy a small piece of 1/4" acrylic and cut it however you want it. Acrylic will warp when exposed to heat though, so you might want to keep that in mind depending on how you put the light.

I second getting a glass shop to cut you one. I had 2 extras cut for my 92 once for about $30 including tempering.
