I have a Crocea Clam for about 6 months now and doing very well. i woke up this morning to find it had fallen of its rock where it was attached. it looks like the part that attaches to the rock was torn away. it was still attached to the rock my question is will this kill my clam? or is there anything i can do?

it looks like a snail got under it and wedged it away from the rock leaving part of it behind.

thanks,
mike

Yes this is pretty normal, the clam is looking for a better spot to sit. Try moving it up closer to the light

its already at the top of the tank its in a 72 bow front with 5 54watt t-5s it has very good color. its getting good flow not direct but it gets plenty.
