I purchased a pair of clown fish about 4 weeks ago. I felt as though i need to buy a anemone for them to swim in. At the local LFS i was told that this particular anemone would be fine for my Ocellaris clowns and they would take to this particular species quite easily. But its been about 3 or 4 days and they dont even swim near it. Can someone please tell me what sort of anemone it is and if ocellearis clowns usually take to this?

You have a green bubble tip anemone (entacmea Quadricolor).

Ocellaris clowns are often hosted by these, but not naturally. They will likely find it, just be patient :)

Yes patience is always the key for most things reef related. Hopefully they'll find it sooner than later. I'm not sure how long mine took, but once they went in, I can barely ever see them.

Clowns don't NEED anemone. Clowns will host in lots of things. If you wanted it then that's cool just don't believe the hype that they need one.
