Help!

my bulb anemone's mouth is open very wide and seems to have a smokey substance coming from it... my tank is a little cloudy.. what is it\! thanks in advance

I would check your water parameters, then depending on what those are act accordingly.

Phosphates: 0, Calcium is 440, my KH test determined more than 214.8 ppm... might be the problem? and nitrates were around 5... my water temp is a little high right now, 85 degrees... also the salinity is around 1.025-6

i dont think the kh would have a negative effect on the anemone, I would be more worried about the heat just try to slowly cool down the tank, and keep an eye on it.

A picture would help also.....

other more knowledgable people hopefully will come help soon.

thanks, il work on the temp. and the picture... i think its a pretty basic bleached bubble tip... idk the exact name.. it was in the tank with all the sebae's at my LFS..... seemed pretty healthy while i watched it at the store

your temp is a little on the high end for anemone. They usually thrive up to 82 only
