Helping Brother-in-law

Hello all, I am trying to help my new brother-in-law out now since he has married into my wifes family. They are wanting to get a SW reef system set up and my first intinct is to get with the local club. I am invovled with GRIS out here in Iowa, so that does not help him out much.

He has nothing, maybe a tank. What I am looking for is any hlep in the area to gahter the proper stuff to have success. I am suggestiong a 40-55g with PC or HO tubes. a small sump would be nice, but not necessary. I have a BackPak 2 to give him, but he has nothing else.

Is there anyone around that would be interested in helping him out with some free/cheap stuff?

This is just a fishing trip, so to say, so your helpfulness is quite appreciative.

I assume they are in the Pittsburgh area?

If so I am sure we can help. Can you get him on RC? The clubs website is www.pmas.org Get them to a meeting (free) and we go from there. We have a meeting coming up jan 20th at 6:00pm at the Radison in monroeville (right outside of pittsburgh).

Thanks Bean. They actually live in Monroeville. I will pass this along. Local clubs are a great assest to this hobby. I know I have sponsored an event in my shop and had a great turnout. Not to mention the many helping hands and stuff that people just have out-grown.
