Herbie on dual overflow

You should be fairly safe, given that you are running drain guards, but I would run the lines separately if you have not placed the tank yet. Good luck either way.

I see that you are running ball valves as well. You may want to seriously consider replacing the ball valve on the siphon line with a gate valve. Gate valves allow the tiny adjustments that you need to tune a siphon so that the water level is higher than the siphon drain but lower than the emergency drain, especially when there are only a few inches between the two drain heights.

However currently it does seemed to be tuned very well for noise. Like I said earlier with the smaller return section I'm not super worried of a flood from that way, also last night I killed the full siphon line and the open line handled it quite well.

Ran a test today and killed the main the open handled it a little bit enough to where the return section ran out of water before the tank flooded. And I'm running more water in the setup right now then I will be when it's officially set up. I'm thinking I will be nice and safe how I have t set up so I'm gonna stick with as it is.
