Thought I would bring people up to speed on what has been accomplished and what is on the list to do still.
Tank is finally done with the buffing done yesterday to remove the scratches in the acrylic. Job wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, but I gotta say if I wasnt able to sit inside the tank to do it it would have sucked.
Plumbing is also done with a great flow rate. I had a problem with a wave forming in the last chamber of my sump, but that was fixed by creating an air outlet from the 4" return pipe so the water was being forced through but flowing through. At least I got it airtight!
I also received my air conditioning unit for the room, just need to put it in place and run the air vent out.
The tank is ready to go, just the room and stuff around it isnt.
What I have done so far is:
Cleaned and buffed tank.
Ran plumbing
Install 100 amp subpanel and 16 outlets in room
Put tank into place and leveled it out
Ran water line from current location and T'd it off into collection can and auto top off in sump
Cut wall to size
Arranged for finisher to build cabinet around tank
Collected almost all equipment just waiting on Geo reactor to arrive
Still on the list to do is:
Move refrigerator out of room and put in other unfinished area
Build frame for lights and attach
Drill sump and install skimmer
Install air exhaust for room air conditioner and run drain line
Build shelving for various equipment
Decide if I want to plumb the 100 gallon rubbermaid into system as fuge
So it continues. No real pics to post right now but maybe this weekend I will get up some equipment lists and pics
Thanks for reading!
