Bought sand today, plan on filling to begin mid next week. Hope to move the rock in the following weekend. Just waiting on my marine depot shipment for final bulkheads and icecap lights

More to come

there is always so much pressure when we all take the leap and go to our[WHAT WE THINK WILL BE OUR LAST TANK] and go through all these continous and repetitive actions and procedures for animals that we bend over backwards to take care of, but i guess that what happens when you get the itch for something we like/love to do with our lives.

when deprived of sleep from staying up late to watch a game that will go down in history of baseball as one of the best playoff games in our time, you tend to be that way,,,,i guess?

Yup, my entire office is off center today from lack of sleep and just all around happiness. If we had lost in the bottom of the 9th this place would be like a morgue

oh dude just like the mets fans were last night[smoked thier nuts],but yeah it would be like dead 'n' stuff aroun the entire st.louis area.

The mets fans have it worse. I was listening to 590 the fan this morning and a New York Resident called in and thanked the Cardnials for beating the Mets, he is a yankee fan and he pretty much said that all of the Yankee Fans in his office were working over the METS fans. So not only do their teams lose, they have to hear the Yankees fans needle them.

yes but the mets still outlasted a hand picked dynasty team put together, where money is never a object in aquiring players. due to their reign of the playoff apperances.

Actually the buffing is pretty relaxing, had music going and just sitting in the tank buffing away

I did get the float valve I wanted, just need to drill the sump and plug the hole where the old valve was. I am going to use the last chamber as a frag sps grow out area. Will have good light and wonderful turbulant flow

Also splitting my 55 down the middle with miricle mud and chaeto on one side, and rubble rock on the other. Flow pipe will be into the middle of the rock pile from the skimmer. Looking to combine good things from differant systems and make them all work.

So I will be using

Remote DSB
Mircle Mud and Chaeto
Live Rock
Filter socks
Skimmer

May make it too clean, but dont think thats possible

Where does the time go!!!!!

Tank is finally ready, just going through a bit of rinsing. Will be putting sand in tomorrow and starting the fill from the ro/di unit. Thought I would update my lighting and skimmer since I have it done.

Lighting is 4 x 400 watt Ushio 10k in Luminarc III minis. Acentic is 4 x 95 watt VHO super acentic. All is mounted on a rack that slides to the side when I need access to tank.

Here is some pics of the lights on the rack and the tank with and without them

Here is the skimmer finally hooked up, just changed for leaks as water comes out the air intake with fresh water in there but should perform great. Its a custom Geo

And maybe the best upgrade so far, My old 61" TV which is 5 years old doesnt fit anymore with the tank going in, so the wife thought we should get a better TV that wouldnt be affected with the light from the tank

50" Pioneer Plasma that is just sick!

More to come as the sand goes in and the tank fills and is aquascaped.

Rock has been cooking almost 3 months now so should be ready to go

Thanks for reading!

we upgrade one thing which always leads to another, but pulling off a new plasma--priceless, but not for you really.LOL

Did you get sand and water in this weekend Clark? You will have to take a day off tomorrow for the halloween extravaganza that takes place at your house.

Katie and I are going to stop by to see you for halloween...
