Picked these 2 up yesterday. My wife and I enjoy how the clown "feeds" his buddy. Very interesting! What a relationship.

Will the anemone move to a differnent spot? I really don't like him where he is. If not, should I wait a few weeks before I move him?

Also, what kind of clown is this? I'm having trouble ID'ing him.

And yes, they are both rather large.

He'll move where he wants. :D Moving them may put stress on it.

The anemone is M. doreensis.
The anemone is a sand dwelling anemone. It is not a good idea to move anemone because it will just move to where it want and will kill coral as it move. It may even kill itself with war and may encounter a Power Head as it wander.

The clown is a clarkii. The M. doreensis anemone is very nice. I don't know if I have ever seen one with totally pink tentacles. Very striking!
Is it just the light or are the tips of the tentacles yellow? Either way, a beautiful clown and anemone pair.

I thought Clarkii's have a white stripe at their anal fin? I have no idea how old either is.

At the LFS, his tent's looked darker (VHO lighting). I run PC's. His tips are more white than yellow.

Thanks for the comments.

Jason
