Hermits and snails in Milwaukee?

Any place have a decent selection and good prices. All I've seen so far are hermits for $3.99+ and the same goes for snails. Also, if I decide to take a trip to Sharky's this weekend are they pretty particular when you visit or are appointments easy to come by?

Thanks

Sharkeys is run out of their basement. You need an appointment beforehand. They start at 10 a.m. and give each person 1 hour to look around and shop.

I'd call today and see if they have any more slots open this weekend.

For what it's worth I had great luck with Premium Aquatics when I got hermits and snails. They are in the 1 day shipping area for ground packages so shipping wasn't a killer. I got some Nassarius & Cernith snails and Baha Hermits. Only lost 1 hermit (before I got extra shells for them).

I'd also be willing to take a trip to Coral Corner if you guys think it's worth it. They're not appointment only, are they?

I would give them a call to see if they could match some prices, & see what they have available.
Coral Corner store hours are Noon till-? & Closed on Mondays, 262-634-8820.

Last time I got my hermits and snails from GARF (www.garf.org) and was really happy. I think they are $1 each and shipping is really reasonable. They are good people to work with. I'm sure I'll use them again when I get this tank up and running.

I just had SHARKYS get me some nassarius and cerith snails so I know they have some in stock. Anything you want just ask them and they will get it, and fast. oh yea and only 1.00 each!!

same shipping deal for sharkey's (for Milwaukee at least - it's inside their "local" delivery area :D )

shoot them an e-mail with your zip code to find out if they can get live stuff delivered for a discounted rate

we usually go with www.reeftopia.com on our group buys
for clean-up crews

great guys to work with,
and we usually get great discounts
the last order we did was about $600

you probably won't get in touch with them now because
they are in the Florida Keys,
and hunkering down for the Hurricane coming

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up getting some Cortez hermits from Aquatics Unlimited. Usually their prices are pretty high but I asked for a quantity price and got them 25 for $35 and they're a good size.
