Hermit's infatuation with an acro...

I got a couple of new hermits last weekend to try and get rid of some algae. Since the first night that I put them in one particular hermit crawled up into one of my acros and just posted himself up in the current. I’ve pulled him out and dumped him on the other side of the tank five or six times now and he always comes running back to the same coral in the same spot just trying to catch particulate out of the water column.. Should I ignore it or should I throw him in the fuge.

I actually had a hermit get stuck in an arco, I left it there, it died and the acro grew over the shell.

that's funny that the acro grew over the shell. I used to have a hermit who used to climb up the silicone in the corner, get to the top and fall back down. He'd do this day and night. I have a lot of the same hermits and I haven't seen this happen lately so I assume he eventually bought it.

Haha! Well, when you stick them in a glass box, they gotta' find something to do!

Could be worse. While back I had bubble algea growing up the base of my birdnest. Bubble algae.... emerald crabs right. Got 3 of them the two small ones found a emerald crab shaped hole in the birdnest colony and fought over it ever night. Tugging, pinching, and wresling with each other till they made the birdnest I was trying to save RTN:mad2:

Freaking crabs.
