Hermits on monti cap

Recently I have noticed that some of my hermits have been feeding or doing something on my monti. Should I be concerned, will they damage it?

I had a huge Monti and crabs used to hang out on it. There was no problem.

I agree. I don't think they're up to any mischief. Even if they were, Monti caps grow so fast that it shouldn't affect it much.
