Heteractis help...

Should a heteractis be in a sand bed that is shallow and lets him put his foot on the ground, or does it matter? I am talking the difference between 2" and half an inch.

2" would be better, and will be okay when they are smaller, but they prefer to bury their foot in deeper sand when they get larger.
