hexarc t5 bulbs

Hexarc t5 bulbs, has there been any problems with the bulbs, well add a set to my main tank on thanksgiving, than a month later added some to another tank, after a month I am getting the green slime algea, like what u get when bulbs are over a year old. Phosphates are showing zero add used 3 plus pounds to be 100% sure, any other ideas, 1ati light was new in november the other a year old. I took a coral and put in my high nutrient tank and algea went away in a few days.

I think I remember talking to you on the phone about this a month or so ago, at least it rings a bell to me?

This is the first I've ever heard of this with the Hexarc lamps. They are actually the exact same lamps as the Giesemann's (come out of the exact same factory). What combination of them are you running?

I am about ready to order 16 ati lamp to replace

Jeremy never called u about this problem maybe someone else, I am just going to order new bulbs to replace these, I am ashammed of how it looks

It may have been a thread I read in one of the forums here on RC that you posted about before? It just seemed familiar to me.

I would try new lamps, but of a similar spectrum and see what that does for you.

ended up not being the bulbs, put them on another tank

What did you find out it to be from?

When buying acrylic black egg crate, and get sent normal black because they were out of the acrylic.
