Hey GUYS SHOWOFF UR SUMP/FUGE DESIGN

Here is one I built and then outgrew.

It had a severely over powered bubble trap, frag raceway, fuge, compartment for internal skimmer and small heater/sump section.

I replaced it with this 90 gal sump and have a separate 20 gal fuge with external skimmer. I can light up one end of the sump for some temporary frag grow-out.

Notice the emergency overflow routed to the sink. Helps keep the floor dry on occasion.

Great looking stuff guys!

I posted this in another thread.

Mine is very simple. Its a 48" 50 gallon tank. I wanted to make my fuge as large as possible, so I run an external skimmer. The sump portion is very small and the fuge is very large. they are seperated by 1 baffle with the opening in the center. This is then blocked with a section of eggcrate.

Don't have a photo yet as the silicon is in the process of curing, but here's the diagram. It's a 20H. I actually made the baffles 9" tall and the refugium 10.5" tall due to the cost of the acrylic. I bought one 18" x 24" sheet and made it work.
