Here are a couple of pics of the mantis, Igor, that I inherited from Lisa. He is an N. wennerae as far as I know. He is very active and likes to come out and explore his kingdom every morning when the lights come on. He gets fed a piece of krill every 3 days and I think he has been killing my hermits because i started with 4 and now I am down to 1. Anyway, here are the pics:

thanks Nick,,
i've been wondering how he's adjusted to his new home. it looks like you are seeing more of him than i did, i guess he's quite happy with his new surroundings!!! :)
it's amazing the color difference, i like his new look much better!!
thanks for the pics,,, lisa

They are so neat, the last one I had was very active and would take food from my hand. The first one hid alot and hardly seen it.That is a colorful n wennera.

I had one for a while but was totally freaked when they sent him to me (I had requested a small 1-2") and received one that was well over 4" long. He was HUGE! ate well but died about 8 months after I got him.

i'm not sure what their lifespan is. i had Igor for two and a half years before i gave him up. he originally came from Roy's tank(drowzee), i really liked keeping him, i was just ready to do something different ....there's only so much you can do wih a 4" mantis in the tank.... :)
i'm glad you're happy with him Nick.....
