It was bugging me that I did not know about that yellow and blue wrasse at Robs yesterday so I asked Robert Myers and Ewald Lieske (Coral Reef Fishes Indo-Pacific and Caribbean) its a Keys fish, Halichoeres cyanocephalus, Yellowcheek wrasse. Ecology deep coral and rocky reefs, 27 to 91 meters. and you know thats a baby they get 30 cm. Chow

Yes you are right it gets to be very big for a reef tank. That turned me off on it. Did not know that it is a Keys fish. Very neat looking fish though, Too bad.

Thanks for the added information. It's real good to have you back and involved with the hobby. Looking forward to seeing your next reef system.

The authors did not give up that info, but I would bet they eat various invertibrates.
