Hey Prazipro users... do you do a water change b4 rd 2??

I do a 75% WC then do round 1, 4 days later I do another 75% WC and dose the same amount for round 2. 4 days later I do another 75% WC and I'm done with the prazi under normal circumstances.

got it but is it necessary? dont have time to do a wc now and but i should dose again since its been a bit over a week.

I'm pretty sure the bottle specifically states to do as large of a water change as possible then add the second dose.

That's always been the regimen I followed and I've never had trouble.

The point of doing a wc is it cleans up the water a little which helps the fish stress level. When you add meds it can stress a fish so there is no sense in adding undo stress to a fish. Ultimatly, if the fish dies in prazi are you going to be mad at yourself for not doing a wc?

Yup - I think it's necessary. Just like these experienced guys mentioned, to reduce the stress level, clean up the water. But more importantly keep the medication effective during Round 2. Before Round 1, I also do a water change prior to dosing...forgot to mention that. Get yourself some fresh saltwater and make time for it. You'll be happy you did.

I have used it in my display tank (( no issues at all )), and only did a 5 gallon water change (( 58 + 20 sump )), b/t doses, seemed to work just fine.

I QT in a 20 gallon and do a 25% water change per day and re dose the appropriate amount to compensate for removal. Figure the fish would appreciate the clean digs and the fresh prazi should be potent.

I just dosed and havent done the water change. The bottle doesnt say its necessary and fish seem none the wiser. I'll let you guys know how it goes but so far fish are acting and feeding normally.

Do you guys do two rounds of prazi back to back, or do you give the tank a little time in between? When asking this question, I am assuming each round of prazi takes about 5-7 days.

Only depends if the fish is eating. If the prazi caused the fish to stop eating, then I wait between doses to fatten the fish up again.
