We are the aquarium and terrarium society of Queensland the aandtsociety is just our site name.
The club has been very big on snorkelling and scuba diving trips with in the society, which was first formed in 1926.
We go on regular reef species collecting trips on snorkel while some of the guys go on scuba to have a look around and one or two will go off spear fishing as well.
We have not been on the net for very long for many reasons, so our history is not very defined.
I have put on a link to some photos of some collected reef species for our tanks and videos of a few things of our second half of February trips.
This time of year we normally go two weekends out of three depending on the vis and the weather, of course.
The club is reduced down to two boats now so we do more shore dives than normally.
Some of the clubbies are very ocean savvy, I personally have been snorkelling, scuba diving and surfing for just over 37 years, collecting my marine species for 28 years and we adhere to all the marine parks and fisheries laws very closely, so if you wish to be green, at least make sense.
