high alk

How bad is high Alk?

I was using an old test kit and bought a new one yestarday. I had increased my Alk because of what the old kit read. I retested with the new kit and it is high now.

If it is really bad, what is the best way to get it back down?

i keep mine at 9..

it will come down on its own, run Ca Reactor very slowly.

Mine was 16 or so once....all was fine.

The reactor is down to one drop about every 2 seconds.
