Hippo tang lying on side

Is it normal for Hippo Tangs to lay around on their side and act like their dead. If prodded it will move, but I'm afraid there may be something wrong with him/her

Mine sleeps that way and anytime I am working on the tank he`ll wedge himself on his side in between rocks. As soon as he thinks there is food coming he is right there first!!

yup hippo tangs are weird like that haha. As long as he's acting fine and eating good I wouldn't worry about it.

Don't worry, it is natural.....my juv emporer angel does the same thing.
