Hippo Tang Problem

I've got a small hippo tang that keeps rubbing his face on the rock in my tank and he's getting lesions all over. Why is he doing this? What can I do to make him stop? Is there a way to get him to heal effectively?

is he new 2 the tank he is common for hiding in the rocks i have a large that did that for a year i took out my yellow and rearanged my rock and now hes healing about 2 weeks he is looking a lot better scales are coming back
