Just picked up an anemone today and while in quarantine, i observed this critter, which is on the rock that the anemone was attached to.
It is ~1 1/4" and currently burrowed into a small hole in the rock.
There's another one on the underside of the rock as well. Resembles a shrimp. Moved pretty quick from one side of the rock to the other.
Any ideas?

Looks like a mature copepod to me. I have a ton in my system. Some are almost microscopic l, others are bigger than what I could feed to my clownfish.

Either way, they are a good sign of a healthy system, and if they multiply, will be a nice food source for future inhabitants
