HitchHiker Crab ID please !!

Holy smokes this guy is big !!!

Can anyone ID him for me, He came out of a piece of rock I got from "KenT" the other day (535 gallon tank) I also got a black brittle star which was cool, but this crab is HUGE, can anyone ID him for me ?

Is he a good crab or bad crab for a reef / semi reef ?

He's a darker color almost a purple but not quite, eight hairy legs, 2 HUGE claws... The pics are not the best but hopefully someone can ID him... I can try for better pics later...

he kinda looks like a Actaeodes tomentosus Guam 782-12

Sure does. There a several crabs that are similar looking but it's a safe bet it's a xanthid and probably a predator on anything it can catch.
