Hi everyone, I could use a some help identifing a couple things I found in some newly purchased algae that I put in my refugium.

The first one is these worm like things. The color is a bit off in the picture, the tips are very bright yellow/green almost neon color.

Also there a lot of these white dots, that spiral like a snail shell. Are these baby snails??

Thanks!!

The top one looks like some kind of polyp, but I'm not really sure.

The second is a small spiral tube worm. (Spirorbis spp.) They typically don't get very big, but they have nice red feeder fans.

Top ones look interesting. I'd keep those somewhere isolated and keep an eye on them just in case they decide to spread like wildfire. Bottom ones are as stated. They tend to grow on all my pumps and skimmer. Easy to scrub off though so no biggy.

Thanks for the quick ID on the spirorbis. The other hitchiker is still in the fuge. I don't plan on moving it out until I know what it is for sure. It is pretty cool looking, would be nice to put it the DT tank. Tank has just finished cycling and only has a few snails and a crab.

If that is grape caulerpa i see on that rock, yank it out quick :) That mess will take over a tank in no time if you let it. I wouldn't even trust it in my fuge. Hate that stuff.
