Found this little guy on the side of my fuge, eating algae. He's tiny and almost transparent, except for the area where I assume his stomach is.

Sorry for the poor quality picture. I really had to zoom in to get him.

Is he friend or foe?

My guess is a flatworm. There are some people don't mind them, but I eradicate all of them. The problem is when they die they are toxic. Look up flatworms, do some research. Don't just listen to these replies. This is not something you just take one person's opinion on. In your research you can also find photos and confirm this is what you are seeing. But thought I might give you something you can google and confirm I'd at least. But honestly I hope I am wrong.

+1, it's a flatworm, some at best are a minor problem, others are very bad. It's impossible to ID the flatworm species from your photo, you will need to give us a much more detailed picture for a positive species ID.

I'll try to get a better picture but if I see him again I'll probably just remove him.

Wonder where he came from...

not question you. but how can you tell from such a bad picture. if you dont mind me asking i would like to learn how you id it. and what kind it is so if i ever see it in my tank

The pic is out of focus but I've seen this particular species of flatworm posted many, many times in the 14 years I've been doing this. You can also do a google image search or I can link you to ID pages. For instance - http://www.melevsreef.com/critters/benign-flatworm
