I'm sorry I couldn't get my camera to focus on something so small, but I had it out of the tank last night and I can give a detailed description. Here goes.
Less than half an inch long.
Shell greatly reduced.
The shell looked almost like a little mussel shell, but had a slight rightward whorl. It was reddish brown.
The snail's foot was thick and almost tubular.
It had long thin feelers or eye stalks which it constantly waved around.
It was active and pretty fast for a small snail.
When disturbed, it couldn't retreat into its shell, but it would hunker down into a little oblong lump.
