hitchikers on live rock

My tank had been cycling for a month now. I have 35lbs live rock and 20lbs base. When do you srart seeing critters. Everyone post about them and I havent seen anything. cycle is almost finished a-o nitrite-o nitrate 5 would love too see some life in my tank even i f it is just hitchikers

If your live rock was pretty "alive" you should start seeing things anytime, but you might have to look REALLY close. Copepods are about the size of a needle point; they are usually first noticed as little white dots on the glass.

It may take some time for the bugs to reproduce in a new tank. At night when the lights are off you might have a better chance of seeing some out and about.
