Ho Ho Ho remember to dip

Unfair to say where I got it from but it's always the buyer responsibility to dip. Just assume all sps have them.
I can deal with the live ones but it's the eggs that gives me nightmares. I think of the movie "Aliens".
That's why I like fresh cut and never or almost never keep the base.
Eggs are only on the dead spots or the base.

Not that fork tail one the other ones. Only the semi transparent ones. I fought them before.

I would have kept if it didn't RTN on me. Revive will stun them within 5 sec which caused him to fall off and kill in 5-10 min.

i always dipped my from other reefer friends, but not those from LFS because I trusted them. I better dip everything from now on.

Yup dip everything always from whoever.. I also chop every frag off its base regardless of if it's encrusted. Not worth losing thousands in my tank for some encrusted coral imo..

actually I'd just dip regardless. Bayer is pretty awesome stuff.

Revive seems more effective for me but I'm using 1/2 a capful for 16-20oz of water. I dip for only 2-3 min and all flatworm drop off within 10 sec. I give the corals a few shakes before removing then another contain to inspect for eggs.
Anything suspicious is superglued over to make sure.
I never seen any stay on for more then 30 sec. It's like dropping them into acid.

I used Bayer but notice the flat worms moving around a coral but not dropping off like Revive.
